All competitors must enter on Main Events on or before 12 pm WEDNESDAY13TH OCTOBER to fulfil our covid tracing requirements. ENTRIES WILL NOT BE TAKEN ON THE DAY. Class changes can be made on the day.

Classes may be combined if insufficient entries.

Pony Show Jumping (Ring 1) 8.30am REGISTERED RIDERS AND PONIES JUMPING LEVIES APPLY.
Pony Hunter Jumping 12.30pm
Pony Showing 2.00pm

Intermediate Ring 9.30am THIS LEVEL OF RIDER IS BASED ON TOMORROW STARS SECTION AT POVERTY BAY SHOW,SPLIT INTO TWO AGE GROUPS.10 AND UNDER AND 11 AND OVER. MUST pay First Aid levy BUT NOT Admin or Ground Levies
NOT TO COMPETE IN ANY OTHER RING EXCEPT TRAINING RING classes 6 and 7

Recreational Pleasure Ring 10.00am HORSES AND PONIES TOGETHER
Not to enter any other showing classes.

Novelty Ring 10.00am LEAD REIN and BEGINNER RIDERS. MUST pay First Aid levy BUT NOT Admin or Ground Levies

GPC JUMPING TRAINING CLASSES (no ESNZ fees)* 11.30am. (Sand Arena) HORSES and PONIES together.

Horse Showing 9.00am
Horse Hunter Jumping 11.30am
Horse Show Hunter 1.00pm REGISTERED RIDERS and HORSE JUMPING LEVIES APPLY
Horse Jumping (Ring 1) 1.00pm REGISTERED RIDERS and HORSE JUMPING LEVIES APPLY
SPECTATORS AND COMPETITORS ENTER GROUNDS AND RIDE AT THEIR OWN RISK


Sports run under RAS of New Zealand, NZPCA and ESNZ rules.
All competitors must be conversant with the rules, and entry forms must be signed as having been read or will not be accepted.
If any RIDER falls off their horse/pony on the showgrounds, they must be checked by a first aider before they are allowed to continue riding.

All riders must wear tagged Helmets

The committee reserves the right to alter this program where necessary.
Prize money may be substituted for vouchers or product
Payout policy: where there are 1-3 entries- 1st only placing paid out
4-6 entries-1st & 2nd placing paid out.
In the event of a cancellation Gisborne Pony Club will retain $10 per entry to cover costs incurred.
