Gisborne Pony Club Sports Saturday 30th October 2021

Make sure that you have signed and returned the Covid induction form that was emailed to you or look it up on www.main-events.com. Please sign it and email it back to Wendy Loffler at [email protected] before 5pm 29th October.
We are running the Gisborne pony club sports under the level two Covid guidelines put in place by the New Zealand Government. Please make sure that you stick to the rules and stay in your designated area/bubble unless competing. When you leave your bubble to compete, please maintain distancing of 2 metres whenever possible in all areas of the showground’s. You must wear a mask if you are 12 years and older, but the only exception is if you are competing.

Stay home if you are feeling unwell. If you become unwell during the show you must immediately go home.

Gate three, (entrance to RDA) is the only in and exit gate. When arriving on site please have your mask on. You will need to collect your wrist band from your parking area (they will be in a bucket at the entrance of the area), when collecting your wrist band, you must sign in or scan the QR Code. One per person. You must wear this wrist band at all times, you will be unable to compete without it.

Parking:
Pony’s: Windmill Paddock, wrist band colour BLUE
Horses: Horse lines, wrist band colour GREEN
Horses and Pony’s that arrive in the same float/truck together, Horse lines, wrist band colour GREEN
Out of town riders: park behind RDA backing onto golf mania covered yards. wrist band colour PINK
Helpers, Volunteer’s, judges, ring stewards

With our parking being spread out and not in the usual spots people are used to. If you are not parking in the horse lines it is a good idea to being some drinking water for your horse/pony.

With each wrist band colour there will be a toilet for you to use. Please only use your toilet colour. The toilets are located,
BLUE, RDA toilets facing windmill paddock
GREEN, RDA toilets facing Horse covered yards
PINK, toilets inside the RDA
HELPERS, toilets over near where the dancing used to be

Please take all your rubbish home with you.

Please remember we are all Volunteers that are putting on this Pony Club Sports. There has been a lot of work go on in the background so we can run this event under The Government Level 2 Guidelines. It takes everybody to follow the rules of the event, so we are all safe and are not breaking any rules. Please stick the rules that you have signed on your induction form.
