The Showing Day out is a fun day for everyone to come give Showing a go! Fun rings, fun judges with a fun atmosphere for everyone and NO HEIGHT CERTIFICATES required. Plaiting is optional.

We want to encourage more local riders to come out and experience the show ring. Our judges are all experienced ‘Showies’ and there to encourage our sport. This day is open to all breeds and colours, just come have a fun day out!

Each Section has an
• ‘Intro to Showing’ Class which is for Riders who have never placed in an RAS Show Ring. It is not for experienced riders on a green horse.
• The Green Horses Class is for horses who have never placed in a ridden RAS Showing Class. This class will have no cantering.
• There may be combinations who can enter both the Intro to Showing and Green Horse class.

This Show is also being run as a Fundraiser for our ‘Masterton A&P Showing Championship’ help on the 19 & 20 February 2022. This event was well supported last year and included everyone from Hacks, Gypsy Cobs and Pony Club Riders with all competitors having the opportunity to win a dress rug as a Champion.

We have big plans for our next show and if you would like to be involved in this event or have some ideas, please let us know.

Camping & yards/stabling available the night prior as required & can be booked when entering. All day competitors are required to use a yard, no tying to Floats or Trucks. Please leave these yards and surrounding area’s clean & tidy
