RULES:
• PLAITING
• NO PLAITING FOR PONY CLUB/PLEASURE SECTIONS
• ENTRY FEE - $5 PER CLASS
• GROUND FEE - $15 PER HORSE
• ADMIN FEE - $5 PER EXHIBITOR
• Your entry fee must accompany your entry or it will be returned
• Age of Horse and Rider as of 1st August 2020
• Colts over the age of 6months must be handled by a person over the age of 16 years
and must be shown in a bit
• Stallions allowed to enter will be clearly identified with a RED S symbol on the bridle
and the handler/rider will also have a RED S bib or armband along with at least 1
other handler
• All riders must wear approved red tagged helmet
• The show committee reserves the right to make alternations to the program or
postpone or cancel the show or combine or cancel any class as they see fit
• Do not need a height certificate
• The show will not be responsible for any accident, loss or damage that may be
suffered by any exhibit, person or property and it shall be condition of entry that
each exhibitor shall hold the committee indemnified against any claim in respect of
any accident, loss, or damage
• Competitors enter and ride at their own risk
• Any competitor found mistreating a pony or horse will be eliminated
• Any horse or pony deemed a danger to others by a committee member, judge or
steward will be asked to leave the ring
• There will be an adults on pony ring where they will be eligible for all overall
champions
• In all ridden classes the horse/pony must be 3 years and over
• A novice is a horse that has not won more than six conformation classes at ANY
show
• A green horse or pony has not won a champion at an A&P show prior to August 1st
2020
• 50% of entry fees will be refunded with a vet or doctors certificate provided they are
received by the show secretary within 7 days of the show being held
• Number holders can either be breastplate form, armband or attached to the back of
the rider
• NUMBERS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED
• Back number list and catalogue will be posted on Brecland Park Equestrian Facebook
page
• Entries close 17th of August 2020
• Only horses/ponies entered at the show are allowed on the grounds
• The judge’s decision is final no protests will be entered into
• Judging will commence 8.30AM sharp
• There will be no catalogues available on the day, it will be posted on Brecland Park
Equestrian’s Facebook page
You must pick up all hay and manure before leaving, to ensure we are able to use
these fantastic grounds again!
