Intro

ABSOLUTELY NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS

· Entry fees: Direct credit - Bank account: 06 0637 0265700 00 ANZ Gisborne. Please use your
name as a reference. Cheques payable to GISBORNE AREA ESNZ. Entry fees must be paid by 22 January
2017.
· Late entries will be accepted but will incur a 25% penalty from closing date until 22 January 2017. Late entries during the show will incur a 50% penalty and changes of class a $2 fee per change. Class scratchings less 25%. Late entries will go first in jumping classes, and the draws will be posted on the GEC office window the evening before.
· No entries accepted without the appropriate fees including the appropriate levies (ESNZ, ground and St John's).
ESNZ Membership and Registration
All riders must have a FULL ESNZ Rider membership to compete in jumping and show hunter classes. Community members may only compete in Introductory Classes.
All Horses must have FULL ESNZ Registration and a Paid Annual Jumping Start to compete in ANY Series Classes
Horses competing using the ESNZ Casual Equine Levy cannot compete in ANY ESNZ Series Classes or above 1.20m Horse and 1.10m Ponies ($15.00 for the first day and $10 for any additional days of competitions)
All Horses must pay the $5.00 ESNZ Jumping Levy
· Ground levy: $5 per horse; St John's levy $10 per rider, must accompany entry fees.
· Stabling for Show: Covered Yards and Stallion Boxes $40, and Yards $15 (for Show). No horses allowed in rope or electric yards. Stallion Boxes are limited and will be issued on a performance basis. Once stabling has been allocated
horses scratched after Wednesday will receive no stabling refund. Excessive damage to stabling will incur a
charge.
· Camping during the Show: Power Points $35 for the show. $15 camping fee per truck/float for the
show will apply from Thursday-Sunday for the Show.
· Camping prior to the Show: No admittance to Showgrounds before Monday prior to the Show, for
competitors arriving before Thursday. Poverty Bay A&P Association camping fee of $15 per person/per night will apply from Monday to Wednesday inclusive. Powered sites will be charged $25 per night. These fees will be collected on your arrival. All horse line ablution facilities will be available.
· Horses/Ponies scratched before the show will be refunded their fees but will incur an administration fee
of $25 per horse with a maximum fee of $75 for teams with more than 3 horses.
· Catalogues may be prepaid at time of entry. $6.00 each.
· Horse of Year Qualifier. Series Show for horse Grand Prix, pony Grand Prix, 5,6 & 7-year-old, Young Rider, Junior Rider with Equitation, Amateur, Pro Amateur, University, and Show hunter Highpoints.
· Show jumping classes: All Horses/Ponies restricted to two (2) Showjumping starts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All medal, equitation, and power & speed classes are exempt from this rule.
· Horses/Ponies entered in Classic classes may not have jumped more than 5cm above Classic height except for Age Group classes.
· Ponies competing in the Grand Prix may not jump below 1.10m during the Show except for Pony Medal
class.
Motor Bikes Only licenced drivers may ride motor bikes, including helmets, and no bikes may be ridden after dark.
· Prize Money will be paid by direct credit after the Show, within 21 days.
· BREAKFAST Cooked breakfast will be available daily 7-9am. Under the RDA alcove, supporting
Taraheru Pony Club.
· Entertainment: There will be a Bar available all nights. A full BBQ Meal will be available on Saturday night, supplied by the PB Hunt.
· The organising committee is not obliged to accept any entry. Where an entry is not accepted the entry
fees will be refunded in full.
