Tinks (Horse/Pony)

Details

Competitor picture for Tinks

Tinks is a VERY competitive Mini Prix Pony & is rarely unplaced up to 1.15m. She is fun, kind & careful. One highlight was the Taihape Mini Prix, where she jumped the winning double clear in torrential rain over a very testing track. She really tries when the rider gets it wrong... she has a heart of gold.

At her last major show at the Series Finals in Masterton- she placed 1st, 3rd, 3rd from 3 SJ classes. And she also won the Pony Derby, a style jumping class with a flat work element. She bet many very high profile HOY winning SH and WH ponies.

Long Profile This is Tink’s 5th season with us and she has definitely become one of the family. The decision to sell her is purely due to Tim growing too tall. He had dreams of taking her to GP level, but now this might be a goal for Tink's next owner.

Tinks is an exceptional hunter! With 4 seasons experience & jumping everything, she is a total legend! As a parent, I always knew my kids were in safe hands. She has won every trophy at the Hunter Trials at least once.

Over the years, she has competed in Pleasure classes, Eventing, Working Hunter & Show Hunter with huge success. She has been on the PCSH team and Interschool teams, picking up heaps of ribbons. These disciplines haven't been our focus, but judges have often commented on her showing a lot of potential.

Tim’s younger sister has also pinched the ride on Tinks on occasions. Back when Anna was 9, she picked up some 80cm ribbons on Tinks, through to more recently she has won at 1.10m and multiple Pony Club trophies for Handy Hunter & Points. She is very happy to tone back to the level of her rider.

This is a very genuine pony with a big heart. She is so so versatile! Ponies with her talent, yet easiness to ride and handle- are very hard to find!!

She is based in Waipukurau and we really want the best of homes for this gem of a pony!
