NZPCA EQUITANA Team Club Challenge
A TEAM CONSISTS OF FOUR RIDERS, TWO IN EACH HEIGHT: 80cm and 90cm
Competition Conditions
1. The competition will be run under ESNZ Rules of Jumping NZ. It is the responsibility of the team’s Area to ensure that team members are conversant with the competition rules.
2. Four riders constitute a team, comprising of 2 from each height (no other combinations will be permitted). All four scores to count.
3. One mount per rider. The rider’s mounts can be either ponies or horses.
4. The four riders must be members of the same club.
5. Team members must be financial members of NZPCA and abide by General Regulations Rule 15.4 Rally Attendance for Examinations and Competitions
6. Riders in this class do not have to be members of ESNZ.
7. Round 1 All teams: 90cm followed by 80cm
Round 2 Depending on time the number of teams jumping the second round maybe reduced
The course may be shortened
8. Elimination - If 1 or more riders are ‘E’ in either round, then the team is ‘E’.
- If a team qualifies to start in the second round all four can ride even if one rider is ‘E’ in the first round.
- 30 penalties for ‘E’.
9. Placings: Total penalties in Rounds 1 and 2 of all riders in each round
- If there is equality of points after the second round for the first place only, a jump off will be required (1 rider from each team only - Article 264 8.2.2)
- Teams to jump off will ride a shortened course at 90cm against the clock.
10. Team placings to sixth place.
11. Prize giving Placed teams (all team members) and manager must present themselves for the mounted presentation.
12. Entry fee is $100 (GST incl) per team.
13. All combinations in this event must have completed 4 rounds at the height entered (or higher), live prior to closing of entries. The process of team selection will be at the discretion of each Club.
14. NZPCA and EQUITANA have the right to limit and ballot entries if required.
15. Club team uniform in prescribed team colours must be worn.

2. This competition will run under Article 238 2.2
3. One mount per rider. The rider’s mounts can be either ponies or horses.
4. Riders must be financial members of NZPCA and abide by General Regulations Rule 15.4 Rally Attendance for Examinations and Competitions
5. Riders in this class do not have to be members of ESNZ.
6. Placings to sixth place.
