A Beta version is the last stage of the development cycle before launching a new website or software application – it is usually put “online” so that it can be tested in a real life situation with real users. Feedback is invited at this stage to help find and fix bugs as well as comment on features you would like to see in future. It does mean that as a user, you may encounter a bug or broken link – please let us know using the feedback form – or email info at main-events dot co dot nz so we can fix it. Don’t be shy! Nothing is too small, silly or insignificant to report. If it bothers you, it will bother other people.
NO. Anyone can use the website to browse for events/shows in their area, click on the show link to view additional detail on the show, read news and download any documents the shows have available – eg schedules, entry forms and results. If the show uses Main-Events software, then you may be able to view actual class lists through the CLASSES tab.
IF YOU SIGN UP AS A MEMBER, you can then set up your own home page listing your favourite events which makes it easier for you to track those shows you want to go to. When you logon, you will go straight to your own home page. You will also be involved in further activities being planned for members including a rider’s leaderboard and entering shows online.
NO. At times, we will email members with information and offers we think may be of interest to them but any emails will be sent by Main-Events. At no stage will we hand out your email and/or details to any third party without your permission. If you do not want to receive advertising from 3rd parties through Main-Events, then tick NO when you sign up … or send us an email and we will take you off the list for special offers or promotions. Advertising is one way we can keep the costs down for
This website is focused on activities based on horses. All horse events are welcome to be listed including equestrian, showing, A&P, Pony Club, breed shows, miniatures etc. You can also list commercial businesses such as training courses, trail rides, and horse sales - a nominal fee may be applied.
To begin with, you must sign up as a member to the Main-Events website. Until we finalise development of the next stage where you can enter your own show and upload your own documents, there is a sign up form that will send the details to the support staff at Main-Events – who will post it up on your behalf. There are instructions on the Add an Event page on how to do this and to email any documents you want uploaded.
YES. Although not strictly horses, they are “ridden”. But we draw the limit at camels!
Membership is based on an email address. If members of your family have different email addresses, then they can sign up separately. If you share an email address, then you can only have the one membership. CAUTION - changing the password for a shared email address will affect more than you!
