Note that we've decided to offer warmups for each pony category & Open horses at 90cm. Cat A warmups will now commence at 8am with classes starting at 8.30am. Cat B & C will be allowed 20 minutes for their warmups so please use the catalogue attached to estimate the time your warmups will start, and ensure your name is on the blackboard before they start. $2 per round at the gate please.
Low Hunter Warmups will start at 7.45am until 8.15am with classes starting at 8.30am - Open horses wanting to warmup at a lower height are also welcome. We will have another set of warmups for 1/2 an hour after the Low Hunter is complete set at 90cm. You will need your name on the blackboard to ensure you get a turn. $2 per round at the gate please.
Back numbers - you will find your back number listed in the catalogue. If you have an ID number holder from previous years you are welcome to use this, otherwise we will have numbers that pin to your jacket available at the office.
Helpers - if you did your entry online you will have noticed our plea for helpers. We really are a very small committee and really need help to ensure our shows can continue being held. Thanks to the couple of people who did offer to help - you are stars and we really appreciate it. If anyone sees a rail come down in the ring it would be great if you could put it up again - that really helps in a big way. When the jumps need lifting or changing between rounds it really helps to have more than one or two people doing it, it also speeds up the day. Also sometimes we don't have enough people on the ground to relieve our wonderful gatekeepers - often they can't even get away to go to the toilet. Asking if someone needs a break and holding the fort while they do goes along way to making people who do the work enjoy the day too.
If anyone is around on Saturday afternoon at about 2pm onwards we will be building the two courses - any help would greatly be appreciated.
I think we are covered for help in the office at this show, but I am desperate for some help at our January show, it doesn't need to be computer work Let me know if you can give me a hand even for a few hours. Also if anyone is interested in some part time paid work over Feb/Mar/April and is keen to learn how to use the Main Events software please see me for information.
